FAQ's

What takes place in a worship service?

The service is usually lead by our minister from the front. As we gather to worship God, we will sing praise together, be lead in prayer and hear God's word read and taught.

Our preaching series usually moves through a book of the bible helping us to understand it in context and how it can be applied to our lives in light of Christ.

Where can I park?

We have a car park to the side of the church premises which is accessible via the entrance to the upper graveyard. Other parking is also available at the lay-by off the main road, as well as on street parking.

Where do I sit?

As you enter you will be welcomed by members of our welcoming team. They will guide you to a seat and let you know where other facilities are located.

What do you sing?

Our praise is lead by our pianist and frequently by our praise group. Our singing consists of a mix of traditional and modern, incorporating psalms, hymns and songs.

What do I wear?

Our Congregation is made up of people of all ages and backgrounds, some wear a suit, while others are dressed more casually, what ever way you feel comfortable you will be made welcome in Churchtown.

What about children?

We love having joining with us in worship and they are welcome to remain during the service. There is also a staffed creche available to the rear of the church. After a children's talk mid way through the service, children up to the age of 7 inclusive, may leave to attend Children's Church. All our leaders are PCI and Access NI checked.
